A digital course by Justin Oberman
Nobody wants to read you. Nobody thinks about reading you. And if we are being honest, nobody wants to read anything, really.
So while you cannot make anyone start,
you can learn how to make it very hard to stop.

Who's teaching you
Twenty-five years of writing words for other people. Big brand agencies. Direct response. Direct mail. Email. Social. In-house for brands you have heard of and brands you have not.
In 2020 I built my own agency to seven figures. Today I write for ad agencies and Fortune 500 brands, and I ghostwrite for names you would recognize.
Everything I learned about keeping a reader on the page is in these fifty-two hunts. Let's get started.
A look inside
Every reader is looking for a reason to quit. A hunt finds one of those reasons and fixes it, on real copy, in front of you. Four of the fifty-two are below.
Why nobody taught you this
Mrs. Grimsby taught ninth grade English and she was excellent at her job. Every rule she gave you is right for a reader who has to finish. A grade at stake. A paycheck. A tenure committee.
Nobody is grading your LinkedIn post.
I am going to teach you how to make them stay.
Mrs. Grimsby’s rules
These all work on a reader who has to finish. You will never have one.

That's you?
Get the field guide $299Every line you publish has one job.
Not to inform. Not even to persuade.
To get the reader to read the next line.
Yes. The Copy Hunter's Field Guide is for anyone who writes anything, whether it's the whole job or just part of it. If you send emails, post on LinkedIn, or even just read someone else's draft to tell them whether it's good or not, this course is for you.
It depends on the hunt. Some are five minutes. Some run close to an hour, because that's what the lesson needs.
Start it, stop it, do one a day, do six on a Sunday, or skip to the one that sounds like your problem.
The order is intentional and later hunts refer back to earlier ones. But nothing stops you starting with the one that describes a problem you already have.
Editing. It works the same whether you wrote the first draft yourself or a machine wrote it for you. Some hunts exist specifically because machine drafts leave patterns behind, and it is a lot more than em dashes.
Indefinitely, along with access to Justin's HUB community.
Knowing what to cut, what to keep, and what to sharpen until it lands.
That's what I'm going to teach you.
